Hi There Jacksonaxes. Nice pics. The Koa body turned out to be so wasted on the reflex pickups. I also have a Tom Anderson, and had seen a guitar that Tom built with a Koa body. So I thought I could go one better, a Jackson guitar with Toms pickups. It turned out to be a match made in heaven. My band pretty much demands that I bring this guitar to gigs now.

Hey Scott.court 2 Lefty Jackson players just across the water from each other.

Here is my 1992 Custom Shop Soloist. It has the JE1200 mid boost. If it is possible to say this, this guitar feels even more finely crafted than my other Jacksons.

And a not so good photo of my DK1. This guitar has the best playing neck of them all. Maybe because I like the satin feel of the neck finish. I am not sure if this is an oiled neck, or just a different paint finish.

That DK1 is pretty damn sexy.

Trev57 I am across the pond, it's true. This makes it hard for me, as every Jackson/Charvel is an import

Actually, as the crow flies, it is only about 25 miles!

Here's the latest two projects that I'm in the process of finishing up.
                  1986 Kramer Focus:

KNE Rhoads body w/ parts from an '08 DK2L:

Here's a shot of the neck heel after I angled it a tad bit:

Here's a shot of the Strat jack plate:

I have an EMG '81 w/ 18v mod in it right now, but later today I'm going to drill and put a mini toggle to go from 9v to 18v.
I also put Schaller strap locks on it.
The bevels and contours were really sharp because it was cut with a CNC, so I had to knock them down and round them off a little bit, so the primer, and paint sticks better.
Plays awesome and sounds great, I'm very happy with it. Too bad I had to strip a $650 DK2 for the parts
Sucks being a lefty cause I have to build everything myself...too bad Jackson doesn't make more for us..

I buy/sell a lot, but heres what I have currently that I use regulary for death metal

94' Stealth EX, 86' Kramer Focus 1000, 97' Ibanez RG470 with Dimarzio Steve Special humbucker in bridge (best pickup i've used so far)

A complete from-scratch homebuild. I fucked up the intonation of it, thinking I was going to use a 24 fret neck. Still plays nice, though.

You guys have some nice guitars. I really like my Jackson, but I feel more well-rounded having a small array of different brands. I'm still trying to find more lefty Jacksons though.

I have a really nice Ibanez Jem Custom that I put together, but after getting used to Jacksons, I no longer enjoy the flat Wizard neck. I will put it up for sale if anyone is interested.

No, actually, haha. It has a Birdseye maple top with swamp ash body. Stained black then sanded, stained red, repeat. EMG 81. The thing is heavy as hell, i really like the feel of it.

Here is a pic of the Ibanez. It has a Mahogany body, Dimarzio Evo (Evo 2 at the bridge) and the mini switches give you Series/Parallel/Split for each pickup. The 3 way selects pickups as normal. So you get 15 different options.

Dont mean to steal your thunder by posting this before you but I have to know where did you find that? I'm not into the flame inlay that much but the one hum and gold hardware is lovely. You should consider selling one of your soloists to me...just because I think they are not gonna get enough attention now that you have this thing. congrats
