  • Dinky vs. Soloist body differences?

I dont know if it is me but the Dinky body seems larger than the soloist. Also the horns seem more squared or pronounced on a dinky.

I am curious as I never remember in all the years being on this forum ever getting a straight answer on what is different between the two bodies.

Maybe its just an optical illusion.

I know one is bolt on and another is neck thru I am talking about the actual body I had a feeling someone was going to point that out.

As far as I know, the bodies are exactly the same.

I think there's some slight difference with the cutaways because of the different neck / body join, which could be why you see a difference Jason....

How come the horns are different even in the Dinky range? Some of them have more rounded inner horns, whereas the rest are just flat.

The horns vary based on number of frets.
A 22 fret Dinky has a shallower cut on the horns that a 24 fret Dinky.
Then there is the Fusion cutaway on the lower horn that later made it's way to regular scale Dinky bodies.

I like the Tin Man. He's my favorite Wizard of Oz character.
