Wow looks like it has a early style pre 1985 logo but the rest of the guitar screams 1986.

I'm so glad you're happy with it pebber.Its a damn fine guitar.Did you check out the control cavity yet? Its an odd one for sure.Logo did look to me to be more 85 than 86 BUT this one was made close to budmans NAMM crackle so its an early 86.
Its very very clean all over.
Pebber the SD Kelly is so outstanding it gets played everyday so thanks for a great trade.
