  • Freakin Troll has to go..

I just picked up a Bizarro PC1 and I just can stand the stupid troll painted on the front! Does anybody know what's underneath the paint. I'm planning to strip the entire body and send the troll packin'. I'ld like to know what I'm going to be left with so i can plan ahead. I was hoping that they might have covered over the curly maple top. Anybody?

The artist is a member here. Just out of curiosity, why buy a PC1 with a custom paint job? I'm sure the paint cost you more than a stock PC1. Did you like it in the beginning or was it the only one around? Inquiring minds want to know

Or did you get an incredibly good price on it?

Technically in Bizarro world you would actually like the guitar and I would be a productive member of society.

It's nice paintwork. The guy is obviously skilled. It just reminds me of a (or maybe his) bad acid trip. Kind of like a grown up version of Yoda on bad crack. The flamey designs look good tho.

            Maybe he knows what's underneath?

There's a fair few of them around Scott - Musiczoo and Fuller's had them, to name but two stores. I like a lot of Mike's work, but these don't do it for me.

It's going to be a Mahogany body. But I'm not sure if Jackson knew these were going to be covered in a graphic when they made the bodies. They may have used a plain maple cap on top instead of the quilted maple version.
