  • Setting guitar for drop tuning to E flat

I have a Soloist and today I dropped the tuning a half step to E flat. Sounds great . I adjusted the claw in the back to level out the base plate of the Floyd.

Can anyone advise if there is anything else that should be reset and adjusted?

The intonation might be a little off now. I'd think the only other thing to keep an eye on is the possibility that the neck might move a little. Probably not only dropping half step, though. But if it does, a small tweak of the truss rod will take care of it.
I'm not afraid to bleed, but I won't do it for you.

If you are using the same guage of strings, then there shouldn't be much that's really out of whack.
Double check your intonation, and maybe your neck relief, but 1/2 step down shouldn't be enough to be worried about.

I tune down 1/2 step exclusively on all of my guitars, and I love it.
