    who are 'our'?

well, i was, but i don't have fantasyland dollars to blow on a strat with a floyd, and if that's all it is, then anything over 1800 is fantasyland, i don't care what is silkscreened on the headstock.

so who could i ask in central florida that you would consider a trustworthy source?

thanks steve, i'm not trying to bust your balls here; i would love to get one of these, but by 'gassed' is being replaced by 'p___ed', and i'm really having a hard time trying to keep the faith on this one.

    please help!

from what I understand, they are going to be the same price as the PC1...

they are on the Dealers portal, and they have the same dealer cost..

so 3099.99 retail, and 2399.99 map...thats my guess

the new EVHs going to be pricey, but they will sell (they arent crazy likethe new Hetfield IronCross which has the same price as the KH20...10K)

i might just have to put my ebay dollars in the bank and wait for them to start popping up on there. there's just not enough value in this model to justify a matching price to the pc1 - it should be $500 less, considering the gold hardware, custom electronics, flamed top, and translucent finishes.

          boooo.

The Warren Dimartini custom shop Charvel's sell for $2400.00 and they have custom graphics. How can the Adrian Smith strat sell for the same or more?

              THIS

The last Warmoth neck I got, I had to do a ridiculous amount of fretwork to before it was right.. You expect a little, but this was unreal.. And yeah, you get torn a new one on resale..

I assume nobody knows the list price of the Adrian Smith Jackson. I know someone previously posted here stating that Sam Ash said $2,800.00. Does anyone know anything official yet?

Wow, sounds like you got one that missed QC? Out of the last 26 necks I bought from them, they have all been dead on per their specs.

HAHAHA!! The price on that is just plain crazy! For 400 bucks more I'd get a PC 1 which has the killer top and sustainer. Oh well, so much for buying one of those.

That's fine if you can live with the sustainer that stops working at the drop of the hat, weak sounding sustainer driver/neck pickup and the baseball bat sized neck But yeah, spec for spec a PC1 does look like better bang for the buck than the AS guitar. Though of course, then the argument continues - is an RR1T really that much better than the new Matt Tuck model to justify the price difference?

And actually, in seriousness I like the PC1

They are supposed to be a Dinky body, yet look at the edge radius's on the body. They look Strat like? Do Dinky bodies have the radius's that large?

Yeah, I don't understand that, either. McD said it was a "San Dimas-sized Dinky" or something to that effect - slightly bigger than the current Dinky. But I don't ever remember Dinkys looking like that, SD era or not. And, besides the size, I agree that the rounded edges look a heck of a lot more like a Strat body than a Dinky, IMHO. Don't remember any like that, either. Must've been a rare beast.

Very cool guitar nonetheless, though. And maybe the differences are more apparent in person, rather than photos.
