No its not a jackson body as I am sitting here right now looking at my rr3 and you are correct about the floyd rose spacing it is too far foward on the body. I know many different companys make that style body. You can look at http://www.warmoth.com thats one that I know of but other than that I am baffled. Maybe see if there is some markings/ serial #'s under the plates??? Kinda reminds me of a Hot Rod JS30RR

the only thing that we haven't done with that guitar yet is neck disconnection.
other plates contain no serial. owner said recently, that it is indyan Jackson (not rr1, simply rhoads) - but I do not think I understand, whether it is true or not.

+1 pick it up for parts. or play it as is if you like, but it doesn't look like a Jackson body.

Well if you said you can disconnect the neck it is deffinately not a rr1. All RR1 USA Models have neck through construction where the neck and body are all one no seams no plates no screws holding the neck to the body either way hope you didnt pay over 300 for it if so I would be getting back to that fellow who sold it to you.

it was Indian-one - so sure, not usa. Yeap, I do not plan anything more expansive yet.

Where is the input jack? It looks like it's on the upper wing. Again, not an import Jackson body.

it is situated near bottom strap lock, like on this foto
Crafted with the demands of the discernible player in mind, Jackson guitars give you the shapes, finishes and tones you love. From the venerable Rhoads, Soloist, Warrior and more, shop Jackson for the highest performance.

Actually, Blitz, the neck and body are NOT all one piece. There are body "wings" glued to the neck, which is the center. So there's more "pieces" in a neck through than in a bolt on. And on the notion of payment, if someone pays $300 for something then that is that, you cannot ethically go back and say to the seller, "I just learned that these guitars are selling for less, please refund me a little."
                      "Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
                      Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."

no, really people, I happy with this cheap guitar (taking transport to my country into account), simply it was very interesting to know, was this guitar really from India.
