i remembered seeing this in an old guitar book I had....I saw the list of c/s no no's and i was wondering if jackson can make tele's like this since they are part of fender...plus i thought this was an awesome guitar..completely red bound

To the best of my knowledge, the Custom Shop has no issues with making a "telly" with a Jackson/Collen/SLS headstock. I think they would do a Charvel telly with a pointy as well, no problem, and a tele headstock on a Charvel was an option with the "Masterbuilt" thing they were doing a while back.
Here's a Custom Shop piece done within the last year or so:

I can't put my finger on this, but I do not like that telly.
It's like they took too many different elements and mashed them together.
