Do all the phil collen models have the same neck carve?

There have been major differences between the necks of variouse PC1's.
My two 1998's have far thinner necks than my 2004 which has a VERY chunky neck.
Can't say as though I know why though? -
I think they just got the new necks closer and closer to Phil's liking. Or maybe he changed neck profiles and the PC1 changed with it.Comment

Trust me when I tell you that Phil's necks are still way chunkier than any production PC1 new or old.
Keep in mind that he plays with .12's as well!

There was a pic floating around on the net a while back that showed the side profile of a standard PC1 neck as well as on of Phil's necks.
Trust me when I tell you the difference was not a few mm's either.Comment

Phil's personal necks are truly a fucking baseball bat cut in half... at the thick end.
As for the production stuff. They all vary to some degree as Jackson hand finishes and shapes them.
I do agree that the newer ones are a tad thicker than the earlier ones, but not by much.-RickComment

Here is that neck profile pic that I was talking about. The witdth is slightly wider too if I recall.
