Yes, what's the finish on the neck like? Does the neck feel like a Charvel?

Let us know how it sounds!

      Oh and congrats!!!

Thanks for the post! Congrats! I must resist....I must resist...

Now for the big question, is it a "Dinky" body or a Strat body or something in between?

I've not checked it with a measure, but it's a strat...

Thanks Neilli! I caught Jackson at false advertising! I think they should give me one before I persue legal avenues!

I want that sooooo bad, that's the guitar that inspired me to play in the first place. I just wish it was about 1400 or 1500. Too rich for my blood unfortunately.

                      Nice.

I REALLY want the ebony version, that is almost a perfect spec for me. Glad the floyd is floating at least a little bit. Never a mega fan of Maiden but I can't resist the spec and look.

UK retail price is £1800 approx. (thanks Steve) with a small discount and maybe something off for cash, I just might pull the trigger.

If it's a cross between a Strat and a Dinky, would it be a Stinky?

Of course it's floating; that's what a Floyd is and was designed for. You can angle the neck differently or use a longer block if you want to raise the Floyd up higher.

Well that maybe Joe, but there are plenty of guitars out there with non-floating Floyds...

I threw a floyd copy in the river once and it didn't float at ALL. Maybe an OFR would fare better?
