I must have really long fingers, I haven't had any issues at all with my LTD as far fret access

Small hands here.

It's not unmanagable, but Vs of all kinds have a slight wedge that ever so slightly inhibits access to the fretboard bottom compared to say, a LP or Strat. The Rhoads LTD happens to have more material there than the other Rhoads or Vs I've owned or played.

Regardless, there is nothing I would change on either, and picking up the PCS for the first time in a while... I am amazed at how bluesy this thing can be.

Like you I've recently gotten back into playing, it's funny how I've never had any brand loyalty but after buying my latest jackson it seems that's all I want to play
