At least that looks like what it's supposed to be....some superhero woman doing an airborne split. You've got to separate the decision (Hey! I want a superhero woman doing an airborne split!) from the execution....which is actually not bad. The artist was given a task. The artist completed that task.
The horrible, majestic beauty that is the cockdragon springs (pun intended) from several sources- First is the fact that the requested artwork was simple. Almost pedestrian. "Put a dragon on my guitar". By itself that wouldn't mean much, but it's the EXECUTION of that request that makes it magic.
We must assume, in a sane world, that THE GUITAR OWNER REQUESTED A DRAGON. Technically he got what he asked for, but he also got so much more. He got a cock dragon. He got a COCK DRAGON that stretched clear across the lower hemisphere of the guitar. He got a COCK DRAGON that stretched clear across the lower hemisphere of the guitar that was colored yellow and has a vein.
And heaven help us, it was smiling. The friggin Cock Dragon, yellow, stretching, veined, was smiling.
The power and horror, just a few dabs of pigment suspended in a base, layed thinly across a simple instrument of wood, steel, and anger, is what makes the Cock Dragon legend.
I view this one like I view that tentacle hetai rape Soloist that's been on E-Bay for the last couple weeks at about a grand. It's well executed...as far as tentacle rape guitar artwork goes. But you've got a real limited audience. I think many potential buyers are working the cost of a total refin into their buying price.

...:ROTF:......:ROTF:......
I'm not into hell.........I just dig the soundtrack.........
Haha! Vass your post about the subtlety and subversion of the dragon is devastating.
Mike, I love your artwork but on this one I think it's just the perspective of the foot and the trem cavity cutting off the heel that kind of created an optical illusion of a giant penis. Sometimes penises (penii?) just happen...
I will say I love the new T-34 paintjob you did for NAMM. The silver sparkle looks amazing with the rest of the theme. You should definitely consider more military themed paintings. One day I will have to commision some sort of F-86 inspired paintjob on a guitar from you.

HEHEHE....... I'm not offended. I will be more cock conscious. LOL

We have no proof that is the case.
It's entirely possible the original requester wanted a cock across the face of the guitar and the artist got caught up in artistic license. Or common sense.
Perhaps it was design by committee? Some wanted a dragon, some wanted a penis, some wanted a chicken? Mix them together and there you have it.
Build a man a fire and he's warm for a day, set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life.

DON'T say that. Don't even think it. That way lies madness. You're taking the horrible, but acceptable, idea that one mentally deranged individual, ACTING ALONE, turned the wheels of creativity to creation.
But if you are right....and there are 2, or even 3? or MORE? individuals involved.....
