Quick Question about a serial number

Hey guys,

I want to go after a 86 san dimas jackson (bolt on)...by looking at serial number charts they all have charvel serial numbers but nothing from jackson from 90 and prior. Do the Charvel numbers also relate to the Jackson serial numbers? I know its a dumb question but I thought I would ask you guys...oh btw the serial number is 4220 which sounds like a 84 not an 86 but let me know what you guys think!

Is it a Jackson plate or a Charvel plate?
The Charvel numbers have no relevance to the Jackson numbers.

If it's a Jackson plate, it's an Ontario built between 87 and 89.
If it's a Charvel plate, it's an 84
