Not my intention nor was I aware this was "A way around". I was indeed thinking of taking everything off that body and putting it on a Kelly body.. until members suggested trying to sell the whole guitar first. I didn't think anyone would bid, even with a stupidly low starting price. I was wrong.. I also hope I'm wrong in thinking the guitar will get very few small bids. I'm gonna use the money towards something I really want. Hindsight dictates I should've saved the money spent on this DK1 and some more overtime money towards a Custom Shop Warrior. FWIW I wouldn't touch a snakeskin DK1 with chrome hardware, it kinda looks cheap.
I know you stated in your auction that you would not post, but I guarantee if you put that back up with a post option it will sell (and probably for more that the £600 it didn't sell for today)
If you offered postage I would have been tempted myself..but I ain't driving halfway down the country to pick up a guitar!Comment
