Slowly rebuilding my USA Jackson arsenal (have another custom on order) and figured I would snap a couple shots since I had the guitars out today.
I got the black King V back today. Was having it re-fretted. Went from really flat/wide jumbos to tall/narrow medium frets. They're not quite as narrow as the SBB24 frets Jackson puts on the KV2/Y2KV, but pretty darn close. Feels 1000X better.
This guitar was purchased in 1993. Serial DM 029 93. It's been refinished twice which is why the logo on the headstock doesn't have the "made in usa" blurb. It was the best looking "Jackson" replacement decal I could find, but unfortunately the person who makes them doesn't do the little made in usa bit on the end. I guess it's too small.
Kahler 3310.
Duncan Distortion in the bridge.
Dummy Jackson pickup in the neck.
This is my 2002 Y2KV I recently acquired for $1250 bucks. Has some rust on the screws, but other than that it's in great shape. Couldn't pass it up at that price.
And my PRS Singlecut. Got this recently. I'm not much of a trem guy, but this thing sounds huge. Has PRS 6 pickups. I plan to use this for layering when tracking rhythms. Probably won't leave the house much .
Group!
Sorry, some of the pics are a little blurry. One of these days I will get around to updating my digital camera.
Enjoy
