I have an EMG81 18v in another and a J90C in a Fusion Deluxe. They all sound good.
If you had an issue with mud I'd recommend a Full Shred. I have a pair that I want to try in a short scale axe but haven't found the right one yet.

Hi Thanks again for the welcomes and comments. Yes this guitar is awesome! Tone and playability is outstanding.. Yesterday, I bought a new Line6 POD FARM UX1 and I'm having a great time. I'm trying to figure out the whole recording process etc..

I have a USA Fusion w/Lightniing Sky graphic and pretty much love it.
My only complaints I have were that QC was asleep at the wheel with it. Fret dressing issues, binding coming off issues. and eventually, the clearcoat literally bubbled off an area on the back and I can't even figure that out.
Plays like a dream tho.
I do play my Charvel 475 more and actually like it better in most ways. Just wish it said USA on it, haha..
