  • RR1T V Plate

    This may be a stupid question but can the v plate where the string s come through on a Rhoads T be removed. Or does the CS has to do that ?

    take the strings off and unscrew it.

          I guess you can replace the plate with those string ferruls. Don't know how it'd look, but you never know until you try.
          I'm not afraid to bleed, but I won't do it for you.

            No. Once you remove the screws and take the V-plate off, the mojo is gone!

                      i heard that if you remove the V plate from a string through rhoads it renders the guitar completely useless. i think thats where the flux capacitor is stored.

                          I'm thinking I might try using a wax crayon to 'hide' the holes from the v-plate...

                            If not for the holes... I'd say it looks much cleaner without the V plate. Don't you wish you didn't forget to ask for that when you ordered from CS?
