SL1 body size

Hi I was wondering, are the body sizes of the SL1's you get today the same as the soloist's back in the 80's? It seems like the SL1's and the dinky's are the same size. I've never had the pleasure of playing one of the old school San Dimas's but I would think they would call a dinky a dinky for a reason right?

The body is 7/8ths the size of a Strat, hence, Dinky. The Soloist is the same size.
