Jackson already has a "custom shop" logo - you just don't like the current version.

Personally, I prefer it not to be there on most guitars. And that's exactly the reason why the custom shop makes that logo a customer option. Some of us like it, some of us don't. And some of us (me included) only like it one some guitars and not others.

Different strokes for different folks - that's what makes the custom shop so cool.

I'm with you. My first 2 customs were before the CS logo was an option. After I received a guitar in 1999 that had it I started asking for them NOT to include it since I didn't like how it looked on the headstock.

That happened in the mid-late 90s.

I think Jackson NEEDS a custom shop logo. If I were getting a JCS, I would want it clearly identified as such, but not in the lame way they generally do it.

The script font they use, and putting it on two lines like they do looks very sloppy and amateurish to me. Fender has a nice Custom Shop logo, IMO. Jackson needs one, too. I think they should do a woodburn of Jackson Custom Shop on the back of the headstock. Nicer than a decal, tougher to duplicate, and hearkens back to a part of its history.
The woodburn thing, as was stated, was only found on replacement necks. That leaves the option of a sticker like Fender and Gibson uses. Lord knows stickers can't be faked

I like the way the Custom Shop logo looks. It's not flashy or overbearing, but it blends in. The guitar itself by design and features should "say" Custom Shop, but there's nothing wrong with having it on the head in a small format.
I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

I agree. If they would burn it in the back of the headstock, heel or wherever thats out of sight it would sure help cut down on the number of forgeries. Gibsons old "football" custom shop logo that was stamped into the wood made it really hard to forge one. With today's technology it should be a breese for them to either use a heat stamp or even a small laser to burn it in.
I see alot of forged Fenders, Kramers, Gibsons and Gretsch guitars. Alot of times the owners know they are replicas or fakes or knockoffs.. alot of times they don't and are out an assload of money because they couldn't identify the real thing from the forgery.
