Sometimes there's just that "je ne ce pas" that makes on instrument feel different than another.

Sometimes you can get ahead of yourself though, once you convince your mind of something, then it's hard to see it any other way. When the entire thing could all be about something else....

I've owned a fair share of Jacksons. I've had SL2H's before and loved them, but I just don't manage to play this one. And I don not have any idea why,. It's missing the mojo I've had with the other Jacksons I've owned. Now it has been put out for sale. Truth is that I love the build and it SHOULD have been the ultimate axe for me given the fact that it has a reversed headstock along with the rest of the Jackson magic. But as I've already stated we don't match for some reason. It doesn't resonate with me like the others.

Anyone else that has experienced this?

Yes! Yes! This has to do with the fact that mocked at school so badly that I got sick and the puke had just this colour...

Just kidding. The thing is it went up anotch with new strings. I just need a little more bite from the pick-ups. I'm (as you all might have figured out by now) a DiMarzio fan. I'm thinking about putting some in it unless it sells quickly. I know a guy that is interested. And I'm already waiting for another Jackson and I've found another Musicman that I want to buy.

        A DiMarzio Tonezone perhaps?
try playing with the pickup heights. attack IMO is mostly effected by action & pickup height. higher action always has a more snappy attack

I've seen this terrible affliction more than I'd like to admit.......but thankfully none of my guitars have ever been layed to waste by it
