  • New score: '88 HSS Sunset Soloist

Scored from Sweden; '88 HSS soloist with sunset type of graphics.

Do you know more Jacksons with this theme? There is one doubleneck that I know if, it's also in the gallery in here. Beside of that, I've not seen one like this anywhere else.

    Wow, that's beautiful

No, I have not seen another one "exactly" like it... but that's just me. I am sure more knowledgeable members will chime in shortly.

There were quite a few different mixes of sunsets, mountains, beaches and bikini's on a variety of different Jacksons. I know Fusions got a lot of the beaches and bikini's. Yours has the painted pickups - which were not on every one - very cool. Here's my former Bikini Sunset Fusion:

                That I took away immediately

It was actually OFR baseplate with Ibanez Edge saddles + shim patent. Now it has good 'ol black German made Schaller. Looks better and I like them better.

Nope, its original. I believe it having painted PU covers is the reason the PU's and JE-1200 are all original and untouched. It has J-50BC on bridge.

The cavity states graphics as "Sunset" next to WO etc.

Jackson painted over the pickups in 1988, and still does on Customs. Makes the graphic flow nicely and uninterrupted. That's a great Soloist, I remember seeing it on eBay years ago...
