I believe he has some sort of acid removal process. I just totally stripped the guitar of all the hardware and parts. Put it in the case and shipped it over.
He has a place in the UK that he gets quality replacement headstock logos to go under the clearcoat. So that was an added expense.

Thanks guys. Yeah it was a unclaimed Custom that I got on Ebay awhile back. I was considering selling it but then picked it up and played it and was like " Why am I selling this? it's a really great player". So I decided to bring it new life with the refinish.

As far as I remember this guy was on eBay at the same time with COW 7. That's great you left it. By the way, great color!
