The original "trembucker" that Seymour Duncan designed was called the Parallel Axis, because it puts two pole pieces next to each other (parallel) and the string will sit between them.

The weird thing, Jackson seems to use trembucker spacing for their guitars with the TOM bridge instead of standard, as the PA trembucker matches up perfectly (not to mention the JB I pulled out of it was also trem-spaced).
And GAS means Guitar/Gear Acquisition Syndrome.
