      • Here's my 3 Jacksons, JS30KV, DK2, and KV2.

*Edit* -oh yea, this is the USA thread. Ok, here's my KV2 then...

I used to have a Jackson Performer Dinky. It had two buckers and a mid single coil. It was a trans-purple burst veneer finish. Dot inlays, licensed floyd, 24 fret. Not a very memorable player, I kinda like my JS30KV better. Does anyone on these boards have one of these performer models? Am I out to lunch, or were they kinda el cheapo? I can probably get my hands on it again if I want it, but it doesn't really seem worth much.

        Cheers!

        • Is that a Warrior bass copy I see? I wish Jackson would get off their asses and do a production line of them, just like that one at Namm.
          Fuck ebay, fuck paypal

Ya dude, it cost $99. It's a real POS, but sound comes out of it if you plug it in. I guess you could technically call it a bass, but barely. At some point I'll strip it down and replace the hardware and electronics. I'll get around to that when I get bored of all that other gear you see. Maybe in 30 or 40 years...

Oh, the bass says "Jackson" on the headstock, but it's just one of the stickers that came in the Jackson product guide. (There's an Unholy Alliance Tour sticker on there as well )

            • Pardon the bad shot.

My '87 Soloist loaded with Bare Knuckles and a backup LP.

Unfortunate I sold the 3 San Dimas Soloists I had years ago.

This one is quite good though and an early Ontario.

                        • My latest acquisition, you may have seen it recently. It still is in need of some more cleaning up, but it has what I wanted. Reverse headstock w/ reverse sharkfins. I likey! I will worry about the graphic later

Aw, sweet, you got that? It's an awesome guitar, I know that the graphic is considered "questionable" but it definitely looks like a well-cared-for guitar, and it's a very cool build with the reverse head and sharkies!

                            • Yeah, I worked a deal out w/ the seller. I forgot to mention I wanted an older Jackson too, not because of any pre-Fender nonsense. I just like the older ones, I fall for cougars! So it's 'vintage' and has the smell to go along with it. Dryer sheets in the case cleaned that up, so far I polished the frets and treated the ebony w/ fretdr stuff.
