Can anyone tell me about my first Jackson

I know this much about it. It was made in March of 1988 by Rick Jones, it has 22 frets with mother of pearl inlay. One single Seymour Duncan pickup, one volume that pulls out to brighten tone. One tone nob, six inline Jackson tuners, Jackson licensed under Floyd Rose Tremolo. Locking nut and string tree at head. Finish is marked as stone. Serial number is 3210, which puts it in Ontario run of the San Dimas era. So what I'm looking for is maybe what kind of Jackson is it, and maybe a rough estimate of what it would be valued at. I picked it up for $200 off of a friend of mine.

No idea what that guitar is, but it looks cool.

I'm gonna say the pickup is wired to coil-split, hence it getting brighter when you pull the knob out.

No it's a bolt on, my biggest part is trying to find out what body style it is. I have never owned a Jackson before. I have always played Les Pauls, Alvarez, and Ibanez guitars.

Could it possibly be a Jackson neck and plate on a Charvel body? I'm just taking a guess since no one more knowledgable has replied yet.
But it kinda looks like a Charvel Model 2 body.
And $200 for a Jackson of that age seems crazily low to me.

No not at all Martin, the neck was made March 14, 1988, and the body was made March 17, 1988 both have matching numbers on them. It is 100% American made Jackson.

"Earthquake" or "Tremor" or something like that finish. I had a single hum Soloist with that finish. So did Richie Sambora.

The finish is Stone or Rock I forget which one it said. I'll pull the back plate off in a few and get back to you on that note.

Ontario-made, San Dimas plated based on the dates. Odd, I thought they used Floyd nuts by the they got to Ontario... but I'm not an expert.

Hey look at that - I didn't notice the retainer bar. Something aint' right about that. The retainer bar was likely added later. Usually you see necks with just the Kahler string lock. Maybe they were still using them in '88 - probably came from the factory with the string lock and someone added the bar.
