Up until 1990 every Jackson /Charvel USA guitar is essentially a one off /Custom Shop piece. While there were for ex. Rhoads Student and Rhoads custom models, each of tehse guitars still got the attention a one off deserves and there was still a wide range of options to customize from.
Starting in 1990, the production of 12 guitar batches (today' s USA Selects) started parallel to the CS.
