  • Pics of my Jackson PC-1 in Chlorine

I have been waiting for this guitar for a long time - this is one guitar that I never really thought I'd ever actually own, especially since there are no dealers in my area that carry USA Jacksons..

Found a cool private seller dude willing to sell me one for under $1300. the only catch is its an older model with the 'fugly headstock' that people seem to hate. other than that it is near mint save for a tiny bit of buckle rash on rear plastic battery cover.

This came in last night and had a chance to noodle around on it for a few minutes last night to familiarize myself with the features. I won't really have time to put it through its paces until later. might gig it this friday, not sure yet. the lack of fret markers will need some time to adjust to

i snapped a few pics this morning before heading into work. hope you guys dig!

I personally like the original headstock.
      Gives it its own personality.

Nice top on that one btw!

I like that headstock, too. I prefer the "real" strathead, but that headstock is a cool Jackson original design, too.

Also, the benefit for having a pre-strathead model is the use of analine dye for the top and (more often than not) better quality quilt-top figuring. Your's is a prime example - congrats!

Absolutely stunning. I have no issues with that headstock - it fits perfectly.

Wow,,,,reminds me of how much I want to add another Jackson USA to buddy with my SL2H. Great guitar,,,beautiful finish. I really like how the back and sides of the body show the wood....that is awesome.

That´s the way ALL PC1´s should be with transparent naturel color on the back. You lucky bastard, congrats!!

We need pics of the back as well...

Looks like Chlorine's have been the color of choice this summer for the PC1s. Very nice one you got there!! but I "had" to have the Strat headstock, Just got this last week......(sorry for the bad lighting, there's actually green in the middle)

                        Love the Mahogany.
It kills me that they paint some of the backs black now on certain colors... makes you wonder how shitty the wood is.

maltomario: Was that the one that was on Ebay? If so, after looking at your pics, it has a better top than I originally thought.

That is a gorgeous guitar. I own a Chlorine CS Dinky, but man your PC1 is nice.

Congrats! And that headstock gives it its own flavor if you ask me.

                              *EDIT: Fuck it...shameless Chlroine pic...
