  • Kelly with no bevels/body binding?

The other day I came across something rather odd. A KE1 Friedman sig with no body bevels and binding on the body. It had a Kahler bridge unit and a SD JB pickup, which I'm almost sure are the standard things on those guitars..

Does Jackson make unbeveled/bound body Kellys outside the CS?

Where do I get in line!!?

    Sounds like an older KE1T:

IIRC, a few (maybe prototypes) were made with Kahlers before they switched over to the TOM bridge with the KE1T and, later, KE2T (two hum) models.

They're not sold now. That'd be a custom shop order only.

I have one of Marty Friedman's Kellys and it looks identical to the one posted above except it doesn't have 69 on it. It was used on the Cryptic Writings CD and tour
