I tried to get a blue ghost flame DK1 there that they had for $799 however they would not ship to Canada anymore (Even though they shipped me a black ghost flame SL2H a few months prior). Oh well, more money in my pocket, I guess.

I didn't know that they'd sell/ship the used gear like that. I've usually just looked locally and gone and looked at it (I still much prefer to actually see/smell/taste a guitar before I buy it.)

I've gotten a couple of good deals on used stuff from both of the GC's in my area. Also, I ordered some stuff from them with overnight shipping and they let it sit there for almost a week so because of their "shipping guarantee" I got 20% off my next order; their "new" prices with 20% off are pretty good.

GC isn't all bad... It's just not that good.

Every bit of used stuff I've got from GC has been shipped to me from other stores. Haven't had a problem yet. But I have to GC within an hour from here anyway so it works out great for me.

Well it arrived today and it's awesome! The guy told me it didn't come with a case so he threw in a roadrunner molded hardshell for free. It did a great job protecting the guitar. From the serial number, I found ot it's a 1990 Ontario soloist. It's got two dings but no biggie as I plan to send it off fir a refin by Dan Lawrence in a few days anyway. The neck is a total joy to play. I'm going to hate sending this one away so I better do it quick.

im glad GC salesguys are clueless. back when BCR started using the script logo they did NOT say made in usa on the headstocks. so they had it listed as an import, i didnt say shit & bought the guitar fast. actually got them to lower the price too.

When I bought my first SL2H at GC a couple of years ago, a factory case was supposed to be included, but of course, they couldn't find it. So they threw in a Road Runner with the zipper. It's actually not a bad case at all.
