Interestingly, in Flight 666 you can see that they never routed out for the cover plate on Adrian's - so his are non-recessed and non-drilled (which I actually would have preferred - I don't like leaving the cover off a recessed trem cavity - just don't seem right to me).

I'm always afraid my shirt will get caught in it. :dunno:

Are the inays abalone? They sure look like it. But I'm pretty sure the AS model's specs say MOP.

Gorgeous guitar, and very cool pics. And, IMHO, good call on the ebony f'board version.

Neither's Dave Murray's. Wonder what it is with the two Maiden legends not using "proper" pickups?

That Jackson looks sweet, you're one lucky, lucky bastard having both the Adrian and Dave sig models. Bet you have a PC1 too you bastard.

If only the maple boarded version came with the white pickguard.....

Given the choices, I'm with you. I would have bought the ebony w/white pickguard too.

Now if the bodies were the same and only the board was different, it would be no contest.

Love it either way. As a Maiden fan from waaaaayyyy back, I would really like to add one to the collection someday.

You're a ballsy guy, putting your guitars on a ledge like that.

Very interesting that they routed the trem cover after painting. I wonder why they did that? It's a good question. It's almost like by customer demand? I do like the cover on the cavity.

Your not making it easy on me. I have been gassing for one of these.

Great pictures. I was just at B.B. Kings Weds. night. Wow, Times Square is nuts now with the street closure. Mass humanity.

Would you say I'm living on the razor's edge? Balancing on the ledge?

I don't know... I have noticed some of the "higher end" guitars being like this (Custom Shop Charvels, too) and I think it's really on purpose.

I've heard that the F-spaced versions don't sound the same (which makes sense) so maybe it's a matter of "what they have always used" or they feel that the standard version sounds better?

Turk, you really need to get some pics of both your Maiden guitars together up.

Maybe if I take them both to the grand canyon and suspend them over the edge with a fishing pole.
