We need a "This thread is worthless without video" smilie for your new guitar threads Jani.

Oh, and that wood you are shooting on in the last picture is an awesome guitar background. Don't put one of those Amfisound Arctic Kelo finish guitars on there though, it will blend right in.

              Nice guitar.

I like that locking nut behind the actual nut. Seems like a good idea to me.

Thanks all! As you know I own and have owned a lot of Custom Jacksons. This is among the ones that I really consider a great score in terms of getting a monster guitar that is also
somewhat rare and unique. I'm 100% this will be one of the guitars I use for recording. Just got to get the frets levelled and pickup issues solved.

If a Telly bass counts then yes.

Ive never had a problem... my main guitar, an 1987 Model 6 has gotten a SHITLOAD of play over the last 4 years and I never have any problems with goin out of tune. Holds just as good if not better than any of my Floyd nut axes... from a 23 year old behind-the-nut lock.

Oh, I agree - I have one on my Model 4 and it works great, but it is a NOS replacement - the original was DOA. But in general, these are the BETA, LaserDisc or HD DVD of the locking trem wars.

Oh no doubt, and given a choice Id take a Floyd nut, mainly because its just a simpler design and install. But setup properly the post nut locks work just fine!
