That headstock is fucking atrocious. I mean REALLY bad, who the fuck lets these designs out?

Still, gonna have to get one. It's a toss up between this and the ultra cool BCRICH 7 string V. Thats not associated with any shit band. Shame neither are built in the us of a too, but what are ya gonna do.

But I dont believe they should use some random ass pickups, nor should new products have to be 'inspiring' in any way. They're tools man, inspiration comes from us!

Edit; I just did a complete 180. I fucking love the headstock. I just want the body to be 100% bigger aswell. That'd make it fucking awesome! A true warrior boat of a guitar

I think the PDX has a chance at being a sales success at that price and feature set. And at that price point enough of them can potentially be in stock that you could QC them for the happy accident build.

I have no problems with the specs on the 7 but the headstock does look wrong in some way. The price on it I think is great. I would like to see more/better finish options, maybe something daring like BCSB instead of trans black. But my friend at the music store tells me he can sell trans black guitars all day long so I can see the logic there I guess.

I do still like my Jacksons. But the last few years I've got ZERO interest in anything Jackson puts out. The problem with Jackson nowadays is: they are just there doing their own thing, and if you don't like what they have, bad for you, or shell out a fortune for a custom shop model. I wish they'd listen more to the players, like other companies do. Now they're just charging huge amounts of money for a 'good' guitar with more bells and whistles. To me, Jackson is kinda digging their own grave. The RR24 came WAY too late for instance. I wish they'd expand their line and do new things, to make the guitars interesting again for me and for a lot of other players out there.

If that Demmel king V has the back of the neck finnished, i have to get one!

                Thanks Matt for sharing.

On the description, it's written for the SLAT 3-6 that the available colours are black, gun metal grey, green swirl & transparent black, and the picture on the official website show it in natural finish?

I really like the SLAT 3-7, but I'm disappointed that they didn't put ebony and binding on the neck like they did for the SLS3 that is an amazing guitar for the price. It would have help to accept the design of the headstock that is... umh umh... MASSIVE!

Why don't they do maple boards on some of these models? Is it more expensive than rosewood? It seems that the DK2M were very popular because of the maple boards, so I'm not sure why they don't do more (unless it costs more).

Yeah, that makes me wonder what will happen to the X series.

You really should know by now, that Jackson don't put out guitars that would sell god or that people want!

Yeah, that's why Jackson is going out of business and Fender is dropping the line.
