It seemed kinda strange that Phil made a comment about Jackson having these all painted up - I thought the point was that Phil did the splatter / japanese characters?Popular is not the same as good

I dunno know.....
I am a huge fan of Phil and his original Jackson's (Crackle, Bela etc...) and very much a fan of his PC1's too but I just can not get over that new guitar he is holding.
It's just so 80's and so unoriginal.
Just seems to me that there were so many other great guitars to choose from and they went with that piece of turd.
