    Did anyone else see this?



    I am cautiously optimistic that it will be a cool amp. That head is shrouded in mystery and folklore at this point. It will be interesting to see if they can come up with something gets it right.

    Yeah, but I don't think they had the actual amp to work with, did they?

      I don't believe they did. That's why I am cautious about it. If they get the right people and the right ears involved it might still sound really good.

        What amp was Slash using on that album such that the tone couldn't be closely recreated with a stock Marshall with minimal effort? Is it so that you don't have to run out and buy a Les Paul?

        Was his modded or something?

            That was a great read, I didn't realize the history there on #39.

            That's funny, Slash claiming it was stolen so he didn't have to return it and then his roadie bringing it back to the studio for rehearsal.

              He used a Jubilee 25th and got his own signature made from that, now they're making him another amp?!? Interesting.
