I kind of like it too. The Upper horn could be more rounded but IMHO it's not hideous.

The more I look at it, it doesn't seem so bad. I don't want one, but I think I first said that about the Morton when it first came out, then I bought one and think it's awesome!

The headstock looks pretty neat on the natural one on Youtube. The teaser clip with the blue one seemed a little funky with the black headstock cap. The body seemed weirder, too, but maybe it's just because it was such a close-up.

In that interview clip I thought it looked pretty nice, I´ll definitely be checking one out when I get the chance. I wonder where the pricing is going to end up, though?

Well I really like the color on the blue one. And the fretboard with no inlays looks really sharp.

The body countours really don't look good to me on the gold. The headstock is different but not the worst I've seen.

I will give Phi and Jackson credit for at least trying a different looking guitar.

With no Sustainor, no FR, and no quilted top, this might actually be an affordable guitar.

If it felt good, played well and sounded great I would definitely consider it, but only in a dark color.

If that abomination had an arched top rather than those weird contours, a slightly smaller body, a longer lower horn and different headstock (smurfhat maybe?) it could be a pretty sweet guitar.

that guitar would be cool if it were just a bit different. if you changed the horns, the finish, the shape, the bridge.

I think if it looked kinda like this it could be pretty cool.

I find it amazing that Phil is always talking about getting more sustain. I've seen him live several times, and with the amount of effects he uses, he could be playing a balsa wood guitar and it'd sound the same...

Phil is a crazy shredder.... he usually goes crazy live and plays a bunch of sonic wankery. good thing Mutt Lange kept a leash on him in the studio, otherwise the CDs would all sound like that.

That is one of the worst looking guitars I've seen in a LONG time. Interesting that he is going with something other than Maple. Its funny in the vid they pan over to the pc1 and it feels like he is looking at his lover leaving on a train. LMAO
