That's because they were already sold. They did allow me to shoot them though all my Jackson pix from Thursday are now up on Facebook. You can check them out there.
I also shot the Charvel and GMP booths. I will post those as soon as I can. Facebook is giving me problems uploading them. I will work on it

I talked to McG at the Charvel booth and asked him a ton of questions about the Pro Mods. Let me just start by saying that McG is a super cool dude. Very friendly and willing to chat. So we all know that they are made in Mexico now. He said that the USA Charvel guys went down to Mexico and trained the workers on how to make a Charvel. In fact, in the Mexico factory, they have their own area that is only used for Charvel/Jackson/EVH stuff. Those machines are not used for any Fender stuff. The build quality is extremely good. Yep, recessed trems. Also, the tuning pegs are back to the normal size/shape. The neck plate looks the same, except it says Made in Mexico instead of Japan. The headstock does not say Made in Mexico.
The hard tails are regular production models. They only come with rosewood fretboards and H/S pickup config. The So-Cals now have Duncan pickups. Those trans finishes are regular production colors. And the cool news... there will be Wild Cards! All the guitars displayed at the booth are NOT wild cards, so who knows what we could see coming out.
I think he mentioned April as a date for these coming out. Also, for those that care, there were in fact classic striped EVH strat guitars with the EVH logo on the strathead as we saw in the screenshot. Those are up the EVH section, which is next to Jackson upstairs.

You're welcome for the pix everyone. And yes McG is a super cool guy. In fact it was him who put me in touch with the right people at Jackson so that I was able to shoot the booth before it was open to the public AND got to shoot the CS stuff that was not out on display to the public since they were sold. A big thank you to McG (Bionic on here) and "Romo" from JacksonRudy

A couple more tidbits from today. I noodled around on the new Pro Mods and I also tried out the new striped EVH strats. Both made in the same Mexican plant by the same exact guys. I have to say that the Pro Mods felt much better than the EVH guitars. The build quality seemed better. The Pro Mods were much easier to play and just felt better all around.
Forgot to mention yesterday: The tuning pegs have the Charvel logo on them, and the hardtails have locking tuners (also with the logo). And the neck plate on the striped EVH guitars is chrome and it's blank. No logo or anything.
I saw two performances. Yesterday I watched Andy James at ESP. Wow, that guy is crazy good. And today I watched Bruce Bouillet do a set, which was also awesome.Breaking Point, my all instrumental CD available here:

I'm eyeballing a white promod. Not sure if I'll commit and I'm not sure if with a guard or not.Build a man a fire and he's warm for a day, set a man on fire and he's warm for the rest of his life.
