    Re: 2006 NAMM Pics/Info

If you want a strat head jackson, have to get a PC-1 or order a custom PC-1 but only change the finish or something like that. Matt probably knows the specifics.

      Re: 2006 NAMM Pics/Info

I ordered a CS PC1 from Matt. Was able to get it without a sig on headstock. It does have to still be a PC1, color change, maybe top wood change, but I think that was about it.

Got ya. I remember looking through the JC CS price list at the shop, and it had the option of Jackson pointy or strat.

                        No idea.

is the inlay on the bullseye painted or the real inlay? it looks painted due to the overlap on the headstock. whatever it is, i think that is killerrrrr. cool to see the tele with the floyd. maple with sharks is a great contrast. What they have done with the charvels is like they were members here with a "if you build it, they will buy it" vison. makes the EVH style look cheap.

Pretty sure its not painted, its inlayed, I assume ebony. But it was done when the neck was done, and usually when something is painted its masked off and the painting tends to be done all at once. In the case of the bullseye inlays it was in the photo gallery clean with just the neck, no masking I don't even think it was logoed at the time. I'd bet that its ebony inlays.

I looked real close, and it wasn'y painted, they are ebony inlays. I think the 1st fret inlay becomes painted when it goes to the headstock.
