  • OK, for everyone that didn't read the whole thread...once again:

    - All RR24s WILL HAVE black binding and MOTO inlays

    - There's a special run of 300 RR24s with reversed MOTO inlays and white binding.

    • Naz, I understand you. One question though......the limited run of 300, will they only be Black/Yellow paint scheme?

      • I`ve read the whole thread...
but why does it say on the Jackson page for the RR24 under
specs. that there will be NO binding?
And btw: all other specs are right
        This is kinda confusing

So I think that the binding will be only on the show models...
If it`s that so...that would suck!...
Can anyone tell me(us) more about this for sure?
Read back a page dude. Jackson have always been lousy with getting the details right in the spec listings.

              A few points:

The KV2 has had the wrong fret type listed for years. This has been pointed out to Jackson reps by KV2-owning JCF members. Unless they recently changed the fret type on the KV2, it's still listed wrong.

The X-series (except the Jenna model) all have the wrong body wood listed in the spec list. It reads 'alder' while the product descriptions say 'basswood'.

The JS-series pointies are also listed with the wrong body wood, and have been so since their introduction.

I'm actually amazed that they've gotten the pickup types right for the MG series when they upgraded them with actives. It must have been some sort of divine intervention.

It's logical that they will be only black/yellow.

So what? It's known that Jackson page contained errors before.

                  btw:it even says:"RR -3 has ivoroid binding..."
That would be great yeah...but it doesn`t...
(remember Nazgul our talk on the binding for the RR-3?)

I would imagine it's about the same as the RR5 or any other Jackson neck thru in this $$ range but with better parts (OFR and Ebony). It's no USA select though.

                          • The MOTO inlays does me in. In that price range, they should be real MOP IMHO. Jack.

I agree that they should use MOP for that price, but I don't find it as a deal breaker.

Yup, the $1000 dollar difference between an RR5 and a RR1t is American wages and benfits, and if Fender J/C is in the union??? :ROTF:
