$1,200? No thanks I got all that shit plus white binding with an LTD for $1,087. I say as cool as it is for Jackson it is too little too late...And $1,200+ come on if they are gonna make it look like a bargain guitar it could at least reflect it in the cost too.

I think $1200 is MAP, so it should be around $1000 street I would think? I have more of a problem with the MOTO inlays for that price than black binding, which I like. Any guitar that is $1000 or more or even less in price should have real MOP inlays IMHO. Jack.

but for ~1k street price for a japan made rhoads, is still pretty damn good. the LTDs are korean made pieces of crap IMO and look ugly

Hey KLNowak, does the Alexi have MOTO or MOP inlays? I've played a couple but never payed attention -lol.

I am not sure I think they are MOTO, especialy because every spec I see don't list what they are they just say "saw-teeth"

Although I must admit I think I want the limited one...I think I am starting to really regret getting the Alexi, when I heard Jackson was doing this I figured it was too good to be true.

I also agree that for $1000-$1200 it should have MOP inlays
I could nitpick I suppose & say it should have MOP, White Binding & an EMG 85. But those are relatively minor issues... especially the 85

Even w/ the black binding I still want a White w/ Black bevels one. I figure if the black binding gets on my nerves I could always have a local luthier replace it w/ white binding later on.

Unfortunately it will have to wait until later in the year.

I disagree only because they are different beasts. There is no 24 fret, 1 Hum, rear loaded elctronics, USA Production model Rhoads.
The early 90's Pro models were identicle I believe except for trem & pickups.

I hope to be able to drop the cash on one of these later this year.

I wouldn't pay an extra $800 just for MOP inlays unless I was really rich or that model had a bj machine.
