OK, but, can one cut 10 sharkies from 1 "package"?

And keep in mind that $48 is consumer retail price. Id imagine in mass quantities that J/C would order it it, it would be around $10-20 a set MAX.Imagine, being able to be magically whisked away to... Delaware. Hi... Im in... Delaware...

It looks clear that Jackson skimped on the inlays. Wonder what they pay for the toilet seat ones Jack.

IMO, the bottom line is that this is peanuts $$ wise. If Jackson wanted to use MOP inlays on the RR24 they could have and the upcharge would not have been much, but they chose not to.......I assume because they didn't want to compete with the USA Select RR, which IMO is a totally different guitar, but whatever. We can whine and complain until our fingers fall off, but it's probably not gonna change anything at this point.

i think my love of these guitars is hilarious considering i dont like children of bodom whatsoever. i must look like some kinda fanboy. bah.
Looking around I found one pic of the guitar with out a floyd, but I know I saw one with. I'm going to have to dig out old videos.Last edited by eakinj; 02-15-2007, 12:24 AM.In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

No need, Jani's got an info-packed website all about Chris
and his guitars, including the black one

Just to round the #s: $50 MOP & $65 Abalone precut Sharkfins.
I going out on a limb hear & saying I think it would be relatively easy to replace the Fretboard inlays yourself (assuming they are an exact fit). Or possibly get the inlays & have a local Tech install them & probably be around $100-$125 total (inlays & labor).
That is something I will look into when I get around to having the $$$ to get one of these.KV DM PRO, SLSXMG, RRXMG, DXMG, LP P90 Goldtop_GSP1101_RM4: JF SL-OD100_Randall RT2/50_Peavey 4x12 cab
I'm loving the Jaded Faith mods. Going Egnater Dual mod route: Voxless, SL-OD100, Brahma #39, QuickMod GT

The inlays don't really look all too bad, it's the black binding on ebony that bothers me. I love the feel of binding, but it's also there for the whole appeal thing. It brings the whole guitar together.
Also, Alexi bought his first Jackson RR from Jiri from Stone.Last edited by Dusty_D; 02-15-2007, 04:23 PM.
