    If MAP pricing is still 25% your still only talking the difference is 450.00. Now I know you can get deals but the price starts getting closer and closer together. If you saved a bit more you could get the real deal. I like the Pink one and may pick one up. If I was looking for my first Jackson I probably wouldn't settle for the RR5FR and just save "a bit more" and get the real deal. Maybe it wouldn't have the same graphics but I think your getting a better instrument all around. Depending on what model the Floyd is.

        From digging through the forum, I think the Floyd Rose® FRT-O2000 is an official Floyd Rose, just not one that's made by Schaller. That seems to be the idea that a few posters have anyway. Someone with an SL3 checked the Floyd and it didn't have the Made In Germany stamp, but even if these aren't the Schaller made trems, they should still be quite good. Still, if it's right it's another thing which could encourage people to save just a little more for a USA.
        I like maple fretboards. :P

                      $450 is a decent practice combo to go with the guitar, or gas to get to gigs.

                      Not to mention that there is not a USA Rhoads model with 24 frets, or a maple board.

                        Oh goody they are offered in black or white . While I like the other specs the colors choices are boring.
