Archtop soloist at NAMM?

Browsing the net looking for my dream guitar I found in the website of a famous store the picture of what looks like a vintage Jackson Soloist Archtop, with seymour duncans and lovely burst finish...anybody know the details of this guitar?Is it a small batch or a single sample?

My question is if anybody had seen it at NAMM and if it was a variation og the SLATQ or a vintage archtop reedition, like it looks to me.

I've seen two of them now...one's still at GA..check their web site, it may have the description you're looking for..

They definitely made at least two of them. Beautiful guitars. They are the soft arch of the vintage arch tops, not the hard arch of the later SLATQHs. I prefer the hard arch, but I would take on of those in a heartbeat. The tiger eye finish on the flame top is awesome.

I'm asking because I always wanted a vintage archtop, this is very close to what I had in mind, I'd add a kahler and a tone knob...and supposely they weren't available until recently from the custom shop.

A couple of those have shown up on eBay--one listed by Guitar Asylum, as has been noted.

It's definitely like the "vintage" Jackson archtops in shape. Wonderful looking guitar, horrific price.

Too bad Jackson can't make this (or something like it) a production model and spare us the CS pricing.

Yes I contacted them and in fact, the instrument is not cheap, at all. 5500 $$$, but I think that since it seems that the fabolous Charvel 750XL is one of the most loved guitars on this board, maybe if we are able to get a small run for these archtops we can have a better deal...to say, 3800$...

You got ripped off big time, that same guitar's twin sold for $1,000 less from another dealer brand new

I'd be curious to see her. Honestly I toyed with the idea of purchasing it for days, then I decided not to go on, since I had to modify her very heavily, kahlers, new PUs.

At this point, better to order the CS.
