Ugly as shit. Why not just play a fixed bridge guitar and when you want to go down to D, reach over to the headstock and twist the top string's tuner down.Breaking Point, my all instrumental CD available here:

Exactly. It's a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
That would maybe be worth all the hoopla.
