        Is the serial fading on the Soloist? Isn´t it stamped into the fretboard?

        Anyhoo, 9404 looks like a 2001 model to me.

          Yeah, it was stamped, but the ebony seems to be swelling or something. I got it used and modified, now it's heavilly modified, so that's as good an explanation as I got.
