Whats new from Jackson this year? I heard there was a new finish for the COW, dark purple of some kind?

Any word on the KV5? It hasn't been here for too long.

The Marshall Haze series. Theyre on their website. The 40 watt combo looks pretty nice and if it has some serious 1987/Plexi tones it could be pretty killer. The digital fx look useless to me, but theyre true bypass so you can keep them out completely.

ESP is releasing some killer import stuff indeed.

But Jackson is slacking man, just like at NAMM. The only things I see are these "Extreme" Kelly's and Rhoads and whatnot. They have too few models available and they need to get their act together. It's just too silent around Jackson. There have been rumours for the KV5 for quite some time and we've had NAMM and MusikMesse going by without actual new models apart from like 2 new finishes. Where the hell is that higher-end string-thru KV, solid color without the lame KV2T headstock?
