i've recently traded into a jackson stars sl2ht and i have a question about the TOM studs. the studs seem to lean slightly back towards the strap pin(the opposite direction i would expect them to lean if they were loose). is this to make room for the strings to clear the bridge, or a defect,or possibly damage due to shipping? i should mention that it's the press fit screw mounts that are leaning not bent studs, and the studs do not feel loose when i try to move them.

That said, it would make sense to have it tilted back to avoid having the strings hit the bridge. Check the intonation to see if it's out. -
