Yeah I don't think the on/ons do it, maybe just the on/offs? I don't know. Either way I'm glad it works out to not not working.

I'm thinking that they're mostly covering their asses. Kinda like the whole "don't need over 9volts" thing, so on the off chance something goes wrong they can say "we told you so!"
