              Seriously, though, yes having read the thread, and realising the guy doesn't need a repair, just the right tool, I wondered about how one WOULD remove something like this.
              Drilling it out would be what I'd think.

                  To be honest, I don't know why this is being debated, as I doubt an allen key has ever broken off inside a nut. The hardened steel of the allen key would strip the softer metal of the nut, the nut thread would strip off and come away or the trussrod itself would fracture before the key itself broke off in the hole!

                      I think he's read it and is just commenting on the hypothetical argument. I agree with his point, too. It's really unlikely that it would ever happen.
