Help quick... LM vinyl sealer Q

Has anyone used the Lawrence McFadden vinyl sealer? How does it build up? I'm wondering if I should hit some spots with filler before I seal and paint or will the vinyl sealer build up good enough for a smooth surface. Like sealer, sand, sealer, sand, etc.

to be safe, shoot it on some of the scrap maple left over from the new top. you shouldn't need filler, since maple doesn't need to have it's grain filled. i'd imagine you should be fine with the vynl sealer, then your primer coats.
