Right, I would not expect the heel to fit just because it's cut for a Floyd, if that's what you mean.
But there were other fitment issues as well, such as the mounting holes not lining up very well, and the routes being in slightly different locations, which is what I'm asking about.
I just looked at a pic and sort of answered my own question. It's got 10 mounting holes, so it's not exactly like the SoCal, either.
Edit: Weird. The maple-board guitar's pickguard looks like an 11-hole, the ebony one has 10 holes (in the Jackson product pics.)
Edit again: Double weird. The "real" production guitar has 11 holes... In case anyone thinks I'm smoking crack, clearly this one does not:
